Denno Coil is arguably one of the best anime releases of Fall 2007, if not of all time. Aired at NHK as a children's show, the series starts off light before gradually introducing the viewers to the heavier underlying transcendental themes that fuel this show's cyberpunk, futuristic setting.
In addition to its fascinating storyline, Denno Coil is also known for being a show with consistently high production values. The show features masterful use of the latest technique in animation as well as great design and vibrant, yet watered-down, color coordination. And finally, to add to the visual feast that Denno Coil offers, comes now the soundtrack that completes the whole visceral effect of this anime.
