This show pissed me off. Honestly. People really find this romantic? I can't believe I wasted some two hours watching this series. Kimi ni Todoke was a drag but at least it had some funny moments which masked the extremely damaging image it created about girls (and women by extension). Both shows portray girls as these helpless, friendless things until some man comes along to sweep her off her feet and rescue her, presumably, from a lifetime of sadness and loneliness and give her friends and make her happy and BULLSHIT. I am done with this series.
