This is the fifth CD single by Chihara Minori. The song Paradise Lost is used as the OP theme for the anime series, Ga-Rei Zero, in which Chihara voices one of the main characters, Tsuchimiya Kagura. In the week of its debut, the single climbed all the way up to #15 in the Oricon charts.

Chihara Minori is a Jpop singer and a seiyuu. Perhaps she is best known for her role as Yuki in the popular anime, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Interestingly enough, Chihara also plays a main character in the anime, Lucky Star, where fellow Ga-Rei Zero voice actress, Mizuhara Kaoru also has a role.
