This is the ED single to the Fall 2008 anime, Ga-Rei Zero. Mizuhara Kaoru, the seiyuu for Isayama Yomi, performs the ending theme, Yume no Ashioto ga Kikoeru.

Yume starts off with loud guitar riffs before lapsing into a simple yet haunting soft-rock melody. It's a rather dark-sounding song but Mizuhara has one of those unique voices (at least in Jpop) that can carry soul very well. In my opinion, it fits Yomi's character perfectly, reflecting the poignant and the tragic alike. By contrast, delight and alive is a lighter song with faster melody and more upbeat tempo.

It's a bit frustrating to find so little information about this artist. Even her repertoire is rather short. Her only other seiyuu work is Misao from Lucky Star. Maybe she's new in the biz. For what it's worth, I think she's doing an excellent job as Yomi in Ga-Rei Zero and I am hoping this is not the last we hear from her.
