And so Masao dies and through his eyes we finally see how the transformations from living to walking dead occurs. But poor Masao. Nobody really figured out he was dying until he was actually dead. Meanwhile, Dr. Ozaki finally starts to consider a supernatural cause of the mysterious epidemic that is sweeping his village. But it seems he's not the only one who suspects vampires as Natsuno begins conducting his own paranormal investigations with Kaori and her brother.
This is becoming interesting again although I can't seem to figure out why.
