Hikari to Kage, performed by Kuno Shinji, is the second ending single to the 2009 remake of the classic robot series, Robot Hunter Casshern. Produced by the studio Madhouse, the series is now called Casshern Sins and focuses less on the conflict between robots and humans but on Casshern's journey to retribution.

The song Hikari to Kage is a ballad that starts out quiet before breaking into a rather infectious chorus. I liked it on first listen but kind of grew out of it quickly. The second track, BHO, picks up the momentum and just pumps it all out with a hyperactive track that would have sounded out of place if it were utilized in the series. The third and final track is a cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. It's bad. The Engrish was off-putting, the vocals did not match the tonal quality required of the operatic and a capella passages, and I don't know, the artist just was not able to pull off the inherentness weirdness that made this song so awesome.

In sum, not a very good single to add to your collection. I like it mainly for Hikari to Kage. The other two tracks are negligible. Still, if you're a fan of the series, I guess.....
